Bass Enfield saddle shoes, $59.00 to $65.00

So I was stoked to find out that these shoes now have a new variation. These popular Bass saddle shoes now come with heels:

So pretty! Good move on Bass’ part – these saddle shoes definitely look a lot more interesting with the added height. I imagine these would also be much easier to wear with skirts and dresses as the 3-inch heel gives them a better shape and of course, a much more feminine appeal.

A lot of online stores carry Bass shoes but here are 3 of the best options where to get the Glenbrooks:

One is at Zappos.com which lists these heeled saddle shoes at $69.00. Zappos carries both White/Black and White/Cocoa colors and has sizes from 6 to 11 but no half sizes for sizes 6 to 8.

The second option is at Shoes.com. They also list the White/Cocoa color at $69.00 and have complete sizes in stock, but their real edge over Zappos is that they have the White/Black color on sale. Sizes are broken though but if you’re a size 6, 8, 9, 10 or 11, then you can get the White/Black Glenbrooks for just $65.55 at Shoes.com.

The third and last option is at ShoeBuy.com. This website has all colors and all sizes in stock and lists the Bass Glenbrooks a smidge lower at $68.95.

Wait, let me take that back: Emmy Rossum would probably never consider dressing like a slob and “dressing down” probably isn’t even part of her vocabulary. I mean, her high top sneakers? She would wear them to the gym while I would wear them everywhere BUT the gym. They’re too good-looking a pair of high top sneakers to wear just to get sweaty and dirty! Just look at them:

I’m no sneaker fanatic but even I know that these are gorgeous. Too gorgeous in fact to just wear to the gym.

I love the summery feel of Ashley Greene’s whole look and I especially like that it feels so 70s. Even her wavy hair is reminiscent of the era. What a difference a bit of hair highlights make huh? I’m sure Hilary went to the salon for a special reason; I wonder what she got all dolled up that day for.

Menswear oxfords have really become a staple in Hollywood’s everyday wardrobe and I can see why: they’re comfortable, they’re a great alternative to sandals or ballet flats, and when chosen in a neutral color, they can go with practically anything. They work well with Hilary’s tank top and jeans combo here, they look great with trendy cutouts like what Jessica Biel has, and they even go with something as outrageous as Rihanna’s 50s meets biker babe meets dominatrix getup.

The color blocking on these instantly reminded me of the Miu Miu spectator pumps from the Miu Miu Fall 2007 RTW collection:

Except of course, the BCBG Max Azria pumps are not spectator or wingtips and the colors less resemble a puff pastry.

Brown, black and navy are usually too dark when put altogether but the cream inserts on the sides of the BCBG Max Azria pumps offset all that. The heel is also beautifully covered in black patent leather. My favorite part though has got to be the recessed platforms because not only would they make the 4.5-inch heels more manageable, but they also lend a better overall shape to the pumps.
