Notice Sienna’s footwear. It’s a pair of lace-up, multicolored sneakers that went well with the rest of her pieces. Since her sneakers appears to sport black, tan and brown hues, they matched the colors of her skinnies, coat and scarf. They’re also edgy with their design. They look some sort of snake-print, but I couldn’t ascertain for sure. At any rate, it goes without saying that sneakers are comfy, which is especially important during a hard day’s work like in the case of Sienna Miller here.

But first, I’d have to ask you whether you did a double take, too, when you first caught a glimpse of this Ash Flirt Kitten Heel Sneakers? Because I certainly did when my eyes first landed on it. I mean, I don’t quite know what to make of it. It’s a sneaker with a kitten heel—how quite unique is that? It’s actually my first time to see something like it, so I’m still reeling from all the surprise.

At any rate, it looks like your vintage Chuck Taylor sneakers, albeit some changes like the buckled straps and exposed outside zipper. It sports a distressed denim material, and a dirtied rubber toe cap and side wall. And of course, there is that kitten heel.

So, how do you feel about it? Do you love it? As I’ve mentioned, I’m really torn on this one. It looks cute, actually, and I think the kitten heel would be great for that added height. But I don’t think I’m digging the dirtied rubber toe cap and side wall. I mean, who’d like to have dirt on their shoes, right? Oh well, that might just be me.

They first made tennis shoes, expanded to making other shoe styles, and when they finally got around to inventing their now world-famous 2750 model, Superga went on to become THE shoe icon for classic European sportswear.

Did you wear Superga sneakers as a kid? This might be a nostalgia trip for you. Superga has been making a slow but steady comeback into the fashion market for the past year and have introduced these new, updated and more current designs of their classic 2750 shoe:

The usually prim, proper and preppy Emmy Rossum has been spotted in less than girly duds recently. Of course Emmy was coming home from the gym at the time these pictures were taken, but these are nevertheless different from how Emmy Rossum usually dresses. I mean, the girl walks her dog in silver lamé shorts and high heels fer chrissakes. So even though this is regular gymwear, keep in mind that this is Emmy Rossum we’re talking about and this must be her idea of “dressing like a slob”:

Wait, let me take that back: Emmy Rossum would probably never consider dressing like a slob and “dressing down” probably isn’t even part of her vocabulary. I mean, her high top sneakers? She would wear them to the gym while I would wear them everywhere BUT the gym. They’re too good-looking a pair of high top sneakers to wear just to get sweaty and dirty! Just look at them:

I’m no sneaker fanatic but even I know that these are gorgeous. Too gorgeous in fact to just wear to the gym.

These cool high top sneakers with a retro vibe are the Nike Sweet Classic High High Top Sneakers. Although these aren’t exactly Emmy Rossum’s sneakers (hers are the Nike Blazer Mids), these are the closest color I could find to Emmy’s black and metallic silver ones.
