The Avengers star wore a mid-length lace sheath dress in this romantic blush color that complemented her pale complexion. Her hair was exceptional, styled in a waves that softly floated across her face. Bright red lipstick reiterated her retro look. For a more modern touch, she wore low-heeled, pointy glitter shoes from Dolce and Gabbana.

Doesn’t she look amazing? It’s definitely a look you’d want to bring to a big party, especially with homecoming around the corner.

Can you spot something similar between the two stars in these photos? Got it yet? Yes, siree, it’s their shoes. The two actresses are wearing the same bow-embellished and spiked stilettos. Judging by the obvious red soles, you must have an idea as to their brand. They’re the Christian Louboutin Lucifer Bow stilettos, and I’m featuring them here because they’re so 80′s!

Remember the big bows in the 80′s that were so on-trend at that time. From clothing to headbands, bows were so cool back then. Madonna rocked this headband with a huge bow on the side in her Material Girl video, and girls copied it by making their hair frizzy and big so that it would cover the headband strap and only the bows would stick out.

The One Tree Hill star showed up for the event pairing her Manolo Blahnik heels with an Oliver Tolentino cream ruffled organza cocktail dress. She added an ivory Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane opal, gold and diamond earrings to finish her glamorous look.

These pictures were taken outside the Le Grand journal  studio, right before Marion Cotillard’s guest appearance on the French TV talk show last May 18, 2010. There are some pictures of her from afar, but all I can really tell from those is that she wore nude-colored shoes and that she looked stunning from head to toe.

So far, Taylor Swift has been picking the right wardrobe choices, never failing to look fabulous wherever she goes. She has yet to do a fashion faux pax. Although I do hope that won’t happen.

Taylor attended the 2010 People’s Choice Awards last January 6, unescorted, but looking quite fabulous in a Jenny Packham dress (as seen on picture) paired with some oh-so-exquisite metallic peep-toe Louboutins.

The whole look is so in-harmony, I can’t find any fault in it.

Peep-toe pumps go all the way back to the 40’s, it comes in many variations but the one Taylor wore to the PCA is of a classic design, with just the right sole thickness (not too thick like platforms, not too thin either), in a light metallic shade that spells glamour.

Christian Louboutin shoes are priced a little steep, with the lowest starting at US$600. So if you are on a budget, don’t fret. Since this is a classic design, looking for a cost friendly alternative is easy. I was able to come across a few brands that offer similar styles as the Louboutins on Taylor, here they are:
