Iron Fist Shoes – Taking Prints To The Next Level

by Kathy Noto

One of the labels we go back to time and again when it comes to their clever usage of a variety of prints is Iron Fist. In addition to the print, they are also not afraid to incorporate other textile materials and appliqués to bring unique and avant-garde shoe designs to the table.

We got sucked into the vortex of print bliss with the following Iron Fist shoes:

1. Fox Trot Platform, $79.99, Iron Fist

Who would have thought black and white houndstooth print will work so well with florals? I suppose the trick there is playing the same color scheme but adding a bold color that mixes well with the others – in this case, red. It also works well to its advantage that the floral print is not too overwhelming.

2. Gated Sole Peep Toe Pumps, $59.99, Iron Fist

This pair of pumps is definitely a conversation starter. You can tell a dozen of personally fabricated whimsical stories with just the haunting fallen angel print.

3. Unicornopia Platform, $59.99, Iron Fist

The whimsical unicorn print meshes so well with the galaxy print to bring to us an other-worldly shoe experience. I bet style lovers will find it easy to mix with their collared button down tops, distressed denims or high waisted denim shorts.

4. Ladykiller Peep Toe Platforms, $59.99, Iron Fist

If you are a huge zombie fan, you’ll love the zombie print on this peep toe platforms as much as I do. That red flower adorned with green leaves at the back is just the perfect avant-garde accent to make the zombie print a tad more dramatic.

5. X Girlfriend Platform Shoes, $74.99, Iron Fist

Here’s one for the pin up style lovers – a pair of retro mary jane platforms. What makes this a cut above the rest of mary jane shoes is its polka dotted platforms mixed with its skull, ribbon and floral printed upper. The strap is also embellished with a cutesy red ribbon and skull charm.

Iron Fist sure knows how to capture attention with their shoe designs. Their shoes are definitely worth adding to your growing collection.
