Heels That Look Like They Cost A Fortune

by Kathy Noto

Why scrape off hundreds of bucks when you can look smashing in a few tens of dollars? High end designer shoes are definitely covet-worthy because of their craftsmanship and superb designs. But let’s face it, only a few can really afford them.

This leaves most of us searching for cheaper alternatives. That’s exactly what we sought out to achieve today with our list of heels that look like they cost an arm and a leg.

1. Twin City Black Pat Cherry, $74.99, Viva Bordello

$150 Betsey Johnson shoes? Nope, it’s a Viva Bordello that costs just a little over $70.00. With this pair, you can easily satiate your thirst for pin up style shoes.

2. Visalia, $54.99, Shoe Republic

It’s not a $200 Jeffrey Campbell Lita. It’s a Shoe Republic creation you can get for under 60 bucks. What is even better is that it has a tapestry design that we vintage lovers drool over.

3. Christa, $59.99, Veda Soul

Definitely not Charlotte Olympia fluorescent heels. This Veda Soul pair of pumps almost looks like it belongs to the Charlotte Olympia summer 2012 shoe collection.

4. Agnes, $69.99, Lovely People

Love Chloe platform shoes? You’ll definitely love this too. Its heeled oxford structure so remind us of Chloe shoes but the color blocking design is totally its own.

5. Too Nice, $64.99, 2 Lips Too

It’s definitely reminiscent to a Brian Atwood shoe I saw once. Love the pop of color and the combination of animal prints.

6. Varzilla 2, $49.99, G by Guess

It looks like a designer shoe, doesn’t it? The capped toe design fits right there in the more expensive shoe spectrum. You gotta love that tiny bow detail as well.

Fashion doesn’t have to bust the bank. You can replicate runway looks with these shoes!
