Shoe Inspiration: Current/Elliott Spring 2012 Lookbook

The Current/Elliott Spring 2012 clothing collection brings to us casual in glorified proportions. Skinny trousers in pastel colors and retro style prints, denim dresses and jackets, light sweaters and cardigans and basic white button down tops with peter pan collars, it beckons people to start paying more attention to what they are wearing this spring and summer seasons.

But the clothes are not the only attention-grabbers in their lookbook. I was also drawn to the styling and the shoes used by the models. It’s all just basic sneakers, penny loafers, mary janes and oxfords but when combined with the other elements of the collection, it spoke more than fancy stilettos and sky-high wedges.
