When you say feminine shoes, what comes to mind? In my case, pastel colors, bows, scallop details, cut outs, lace, embroidery and florals. I have yet to see all of these elements mashed in just one pair but our recent Modcloth vintage-inspired shoe finds come really close.
Tell me, if you have a penchant for dressing up in sweet, romantic and girly ensembles, wouldn’t these shoes make your heart miss a beat?
1. Wowie Zowie Heel In Tapestry, $154.99, Irregular Choice
Whenever we check out Irregular Choice’s shoe catalogue, we are always left breathless with the beautiful array of gorgeous shoes they have. This one is not an exception. Tapestry-style fabric is a sure win for vintage style lovers. It doesn’t help our heart that it also has clear bow-shaped crystal as an embellishment.
2. Keep Them In Cross Stitches Heel, $104.99, Miss L Fire
Cross stitches in shoes? Why not says Miss L Fire. Added with a beautiful touch of scalloped edges, this red and white number is a must-have.
3. Howdy And A Half Heel, $89.99
I can see this pair being handed down from generation to generation. The design is just timeless. The beautifully embroidered flowers and leaves are just right for spring and summer seasons.
4. Save The Grass Dance Heel, $97.99, Poetic License
While not a huge fan of the color green, I did a double take with this Kelly green pair of scalloped shoes. The soft peach edges and the bow detail on the side are subtle but effective approaches to making this pair super feminine.
5. Greenhouse Gala Heel, $154.99, Irregular Choice
How dainty-looking is this peep toe pair of pumps? The not-so-bow detail in front is the perfect accent to its floral print. The powder blue stripe lining with tiny flowers is also worth mentioning.
6. Concert Reception Heel, $64.99
Black can be feminine too – especially when it is in the form of mary jane shoes with scallop and mesh details. Made from soft velvet material, this pair can be worn with pretty much everything!
Modcloth is a landmine of feminine shoes, I tell you.
