Happy 4th of July from Retro Vintage Shoes

by Erika

Happy 4th of July!

To commemorate this day of US independence, I thought it’d be nice to gather shoes that are red, white and blue. I was surprised by how many retro and vintage shoes I came across that show American pride!

Check out this selection of 5 pairs of patriotic shoes I’ve researched which includes an iconic pair of Doc Martens and one that’s actually named “4th of July”. One of these shoes even went as far as having the American eagle emblazoned on it!

Let’s start with a pair of sneakers from an all-American brand – Converse:

Converse Jack Purcell Sailcloth Ox, $72.00 (was $80.00). Navy stripes cover these classic Jack Purcells. The colors interchange on the red color of these sneakers.

Keep up with the World Cup in these Adidas Originals Samba Leather sneakers now updated with colors of the World Cup Countries! These black and white ones are meant for the USA – the red/white/blue one is for England, Russia and France. $53.96 (was $59.95).

These classic Doc Martens are anything but classically designed. Declare your love for your country with some flashy metallic stars on your shoes! Dr. Martens 1460 Stella in White/Electric Blue stars, $129.95.

Guess what these red, white and blue limited edition sneakers from Saucony are called? “4th of July”! Wasn’t that easy? Saucony Originals Jazz Low Pro World Celebration – 4th of July, $54.95.

If you wear these American eagle decorated booties, you’ll be the most patriotic person in the room guaranteed. Giuseppe Zanotti E00063, $579.96 (was $895.00).
