Retro 80s Lovin’ with the Luichiny Que Tee Multicolor Wedges
By Erika on Jul 11, 2010 in Heels, Luichiny, Sandals, Shoebuy.com, Wedges
There are times when I question why anyone decided to bring back the 80s. But then, there are also times when I’m absolutely thankful that the 80s did happen.
One of those times is when we get 80s-inspired fashion gems like this wedge heel from Luichiny, featuring thick elastic straps, an all-out-of-proportion silhouette and the must-have bright neon colors:
It’s so bright and chunky, it would look totally out of place with today’s delicate, floaty boho chic trends. I love it.
The only things missing are a top with shoulder pads, acid wash jeans and hair teased up to there with these wedges and you’re all set to go to an 80s themed party!
What drew me even more to these wedges is the massive price slash that ShoeBuy.com gave them. From $139.95, they took a hundred dollars off and these wedges are now just $39.00! Plus the whole sizes between 6 to 9 are still available, which I think is really rare for a shoe that’s put on a major sale like this one.
The Luichiny Que Tee is also available in a brown multicolor:
It’s cute and the colors are even somewhat Prada-like, but the shoe loses much of its 80s feel without the neon colors. I still prefer the first one, the black multicolor version.
Now’s a good time to purchase these shoes and more at ShoeBuy.com because they’re currently having their annual Summer Fun Sale. Get 20% off plus free shipping on your order when you enter the code SUMMER at the checkout. You can even order by phone but just don’t forget to mention the promo code “SUMMER” to receive your discount!
