Nicole Kidman’s ACM Awards Look, Love it or Hate it?

Nicole Kidman attended the ACM Awards last month in an interesting but unusual ensemble.

What do you think of her look? Love it or hate it?

Tell me, is it just me or do you also think ever since she married Keith Urban (no offense Mr. Urban),  she has lost her ability to sparkle and dazzle on the red carpet (in this case orange)?

The interesting but unusual ensemble I am pertaining to is an odd combination of a military inspired structured dress paired with vintage (Victorian to be exact) inspired lace up booties.

I don’t know what she was thinking when she decided to wear this outfit but I wish I was there to at least give her a few tips. It doesn’t take a stylist to know something is wrong with the whole combination.

I can see the effort she took in trying to be trendy and fashion forward, but the effort left her looking a little off.

The whole look is so not the “Nicole Kidman, Celebrity Style Icon” I became a fan of. The shoes and the dress aren’t exactly bad, it’s just that each would look so much better with something else.

For instance, the dress would look better with platform pumps.

And the vintage inspired booties? Well, I think it would look better with black skinnies; or maybe a super short black tank dress.
