More proof that classics endure and never go out of style.
Celebrities are like flies to honey when it comes to the YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps and for good reason: they’re so impeccably designed, so exquisitely proportional that this year, they were the shoes to walk the red carpet the most.

Celebrities who are fans of the YSL Trib Twos: Gwen Stefani,Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce Knowles, Kate Beckinsale, Christina Ricci, and Salma Hayek
The vintage platform pump was clearly the inspiration for the YSL Trib Twos. Honed and sculpted to perfection with a teetering 5 1/2″ heel, the house of Yves Saint Laurent came up with this dream shoe which by now deserve iconic status.
Nothing will beat the real deal, but the YSL Trib Two Platform Pumps (and the similar patent leather Tribtoo Pumps) retail for $795 – not as expensive as other designer shoe brands, but still definitely quite over the price range of many fashionistas.
Fortunately, we’ve found some great versions of the YSL Trib Twos at a fraction of the price over at Heels.com:
Dolce Vita Beam 2 Pump in Black Suede, $142.99
Steve Madden Trinitie Heel in Black Leather, $82.99
Jessica Simpson Parigi in Black Leather, $89.99
These heels come in different colors and fabrics (the Steve Madden Trinitie has a very now electric blue version). We’re partial to the classic black but if you’re like Victoria Beckham who we think has every color of the YSL Trib Twos, then we suggest you try out the Dolce Vita Beam 2 Pump in Grey Suede or the version that’s covered in attention-grabbing gold sequins.
