Oak Tree Farms Western / Victorian Vintage Boots

by Erika

Was quite surprised to find these Western/Victorian vintage boots from Oak Tree Farms available for purchase on Bootbarn.com:

Catherine Western Boots in black

Veil Wedding Boot in antique saddle

Vow Lace Up Old Western Frontier Boots in black

Was even more pleasantly surprised to find out that they are quite popular on Bootbarn.com. One customer even wrote a rave review and said that they are comfortable, sexy and that she “gets compliments every time” she wears them.

Even though they have wedding-themed names like “vow”, “chapel”, “cathedral” and “steeple”, these lace-up Western/Victorian vintage boots can be worn with current fashion trends. In fact, they seem to be the major inspiration for two pieces from Prada’s runway shoe collection, the Capretto Easy Boot (2008) and the Peep Toe Lace-Up Booties (Spring 2006).

Of course these Prada shoes have been updated but you can clearly see from where Miuccia Prada drew inspiration.

Well-heeled (both literally and figuratively) fashion blogger Jane Aldridge of Seaofshoes.com is a big fan of these Prada boots. She shows us how to wear these Western/Victorian-inspired vintage boots with the following looks:

Paired with a vintage bolero, an olive green skirt and piled on bangles

A thrift-store cardigan and skirt with a Dries Van Noten slip dress

J. Crew polo shirt and a plaid capelet over regular Levi’s jeans

Grab a pair of Oak Tree Farms’ vintage boots from Bootbarn.com and experiment with your own looks!
